All Global Markets accounts are segregated. Your money is kept separate from company funds – an important funds protection measure which prevents your capital from being used for the wrong purposes. This measure also dissuade scammers from signing up for the service, and helps your money being identified in case of any mishaps. As an additional account protection measure, you can enable an optional two-factor authenticator.
The platform employs Negative Balance Protection (also known as Stop Out) – a security measure which prevents you from ever losing more funds than you have deposited into your account. With Stop Out, it is impossible for your Global Markets account to go below zero.

For example, with 1:50 leverage, an account balance of just $100 is enough to open a position of $5,000.

Is it Easy to Deposit/Withdraw Funds with Global Markets?
-
Are there any hidden fees?
Global Markets does not impose fees on non-trading transactions, including depositing or withdrawing funds from your account. The only fees the broker applies are on trades done through the platform. However, this may not be the case with your bank or provider of financial services – make sure they do not impose fees on online transactions first.
It is worth keeping in mind all funds deposited to or withdrawn from your account are automatically converted to the currency of you opened your account in, which may result in unexpected currency exchange fees. You can circumvent this by opening a bank account in one of the currencies offered by Global Markets – USD, EUS, or GBP.
-
Depositing with Global Markets
There are several ways to deposit funds into your Global Markets account:
- Credit/Debit Card
- Bank transfer
- Paypal
- Neteller/Skrill
Whenever you deposit any amount of funds, your money go directly to your Global Markets account – though the deposit may take some time to be processed by the platform. Bank transfers may take up to 5 business days to appear into your account, while credit/debit cards and e-wallet options are virtually instantaneous.
All deposits to your traders account must be done from sources in your name. There are no fees or minimum deposit amounts with any of the options.
-
Withdrawals
Withdrawals are made to the same source from which your funds originated. There are no hidden fees, but like deposits the transaction is processed in the currency of your account, and additional fees may be applied by your bank or e-wallet provider.
